NCT Taeyong Announces New Single “Rock Solid” Featuring Anderson .Paak, Out April 17

NCT’s Taeyong is set to release a new single, “Rock Solid,” featuring Anderson .Paak on April 17 at 1 p.m. KST. The announcement was shared through SM Entertainment’s official channels and later reported by multiple outlets.

According to SM, “Rock Solid” is a hip-hop track built around a drum-forward rhythm and repetitive, chant-like phrases. The agency said the song pairs Anderson .Paak’s groove with Taeyong’s rap delivery.

The collaboration brings Taeyong—known globally as the leader of NCT and an artist who has expanded his solo work in recent years—together with Anderson .Paak, a U.S. musician recognized for work across hip-hop, R&B, and funk.

Korea JoongAng Daily also noted that the single will arrive ahead of Taeyong’s upcoming full-length album planned for May.
