2. Tienes una silueta distintiva: partes superiores cuadradas y cortas (cropped) combinadas con pantalones extremadamente anchos. ¿Cómo llegaste a esta proporción específica?
- He pasado años evolucionando mi estilo personal hasta darme cuenta de que lo que más me define es el Layering y el Maximalismo. No sabría decir exactamente cómo llegué ahí, pero sí que estoy muy contento de haberlo encontrado.
3. Tus pantalones son tan ‘oversized’ que a menudo dominan el look. ¿Cómo eliges el calzado para que mantenga su peso frente a proporciones tan exageradas?
- Suelo decantarme por calzado con mucha presencia, ya sea por tamaño o por diseño, que encaje con todo el fit. Me gustan tanto Botas como Mocasines tipo Mule, especialmente los de Punta Cuadrada, que son mis favoritos.

- Hi, I’m Carlos, and I’m from Málaga (Spain). I’ve always loved fashion and everything surrounding it; it’s something that is part of me.
2. You have a very distinct signature silhouette: boxy, cropped tops paired with extremely wide-leg pants. How did you land on this specific proportion?
- I’ve spent years evolving my personal style until I realized that what defines me most is Layering and Maximalism. I couldn’t say exactly how I got there, but I’m very happy to have found it.
3. Your pants are so oversized they often dominate the look. How do you choose footwear that can hold its weight against such exaggerated proportions?
- I usually go for footwear with a lot of presence, whether due to size or design, that fits the whole outfit. I like both Boots and Mule-type Loafers, especially those with a Square Toe, which are my favorites.

- サイズやデザインにおいて存在感があり、フィッティング全体に馴染むシューズを選ぶようにしています。ブーツやミュールタイプのローファーが好きで、特にスクエアトゥのものがお気に入りです。

- 수년간 개인적인 스타일을 발전시켜 오면서 저를 가장 잘 정의하는 것이 레이어링(Layering)과 맥시멀리즘(Maximalism)이라는 것을 깨달았습니다. 정확히 어떤 과정을 거쳐 도달했는지는 모르겠지만, 제 스타일을 찾게 되어 매우 기쁩니다.
3. 바지 실루엣이 워낙 커서 전체 룩을 압도하는 경우가 많습니다. 이런 과감한 비율에 밀리지 않는 슈즈를 선택하는 기준은 무엇인가요?
- 전체적인 핏과 잘 어우러지면서도 크기나 디자인 면에서 존재감이 강한 슈즈를 선택하는 편입니다. 부츠와 뮤울 타입의 로퍼를 모두 좋아하며, 특히 스퀘어 토(Square Toe) 디자인을 가장 선호합니다.
4. Tu paleta de colores es principalmente monocromática e industrial. ¿Qué tienen estos tonos que te resultan tan atractivos para tu estilo?
- Siento que realzan el outfit al ser muchas capas y volúmenes; sienta mejor, al menos para mi parecer.
5. Incluso con piezas ‘cropped’, el ‘layering’ parece esencial en tu look. ¿Cómo superpones capas sin perder las líneas limpias y estructuradas de tu outfit?
- Para mí el Layering no es acumular, es construir. Cada capa tiene que tener sentido y respetar una línea clara. Intento que todo fluya en proporción, aunque haya varias piezas, el resultado tiene que verse limpio y estructurado.
6. Muchos de tus ‘looks’ parecen de editorial de alta moda. ¿Hay algún diseñador o época específica que haya influido en tu sentido de la proporción?
- Todos mis looks los pienso con una mentalidad cercana a la Fashion Week, por eso no son para todo el mundo. Demna Gvasalia siempre me ha inspirado, porque lleva el Maximalismo y el Oversize a otro nivel.
4. Your color palette is mostly monochromatic and industrial. What is it about these tones that you find so appealing for your style?
- I feel that they enhance the outfit when there are many layers and volumes; it fits better, at least in my opinion.
5. Even with cropped pieces, layering seems essential to your look. How do you layer without losing the clean, structured lines of your outfit?
- For me, Layering is not about accumulating; it’s about building. Each layer has to make sense and respect a clear line. I try to make everything flow in proportion; even if there are several pieces, the result has to look clean and structured.
6. Many of your looks feel like they belong in a high-fashion editorial. Are there any specific designers or eras that have influenced your sense of proportion?
- I think of all my looks with a mindset close to Fashion Week, which is why they aren’t for everyone. Demna Gvasalia has always inspired me because he takes Maximalism and Oversize to another level.

6. 多くのルックがハイファッションのエディトリアルのようです。あなたのプロポーション感覚に影響を与えた特定のデザイナーや時代はありますか？
- すべてのルックをファッションウィークに近いマインドセットで考えているため、万人受けするものではありません。Demna Gvasaliaには常にインスパイアされています。彼はマキシマリズムとオーバーサイズを別次元へと引き上げたからです。
4. 컬러 팔레트가 주로 무채색이고 산업적인(Industrial) 느낌을줍니다. 이런 톤들이 당신의 스타일에 어떤 매력이 있다고 생각하시나요?
- 많은 레이어와 볼륨이 들어간 착장에서 이런 톤들이 아웃핏을 더욱 돋보이게 한다고 느낍니다. 적어도 제가 보기에는 훨씬 더 잘 어울리는 것 같아요.
5. 크롭 아이템을 활용하면서도 레이어링은 당신의 룩에서 필수적인 요소로 보입니다. 정돈되고 구조적인 라인을 유지하며 레이어드하는 비결은 무엇인가요?
- 저에게 레이어링이란 단순히 쌓는 것이 아니라 구축하는 것입니다. 각 레이어는 의미가 있어야 하고 명확한 라인을 지켜야 하죠. 여러 피스를 사용하더라도 전체 비율이 자연스럽게 흐르고, 결과적으로는 깔끔하고 구조적으로 보이도록 노력합니다.
6. 당신의 룩은 마치 하이패션 화보 같은 분위기가 있습니다. 비율에 대한 당신의 감각에 영향을 준 디자이너나 시대가 있나요?
- 저는 모든 룩을 패션 위크(Fashion Week)에 가까운 마인드셋으로 구상합니다. 그래서 모두를 위한 스타일은 아닐 수 있죠. Demna Gvasalia는 항상 저에게 영감을 줍니다. 그는 맥시멀리즘과 오버사이즈를 완전히 다른 차원으로 끌어올렸기 때문입니다.
7. Cuando buscas piezas nuevas, ¿qué es lo primero que revisas? ¿El corte, la tela o la forma en que cae sobre tu cuerpo?
- Lo primero que miro es el Corte. Si la base no funciona, da igual la tela o el diseño. Después me fijo en cómo cae la prenda en el cuerpo y si encaja con las proporciones que busco.
8. ¿Hay alguna marca coreana que te interese actualmente o de la que hayas oído hablar?
- Pues ahora mismo no estoy ubicado en Marcas Coreanas, aunque los cortes que usan en la mayoría de sus prendas son de los mejores.
7. When you are looking for new pieces, what is the first thing you check? Is it the cut, the fabric, or the way it drapes over your body?
- The first thing I look at is the Cut. If the base doesn’t work, the fabric or design doesn’t matter. Then I look at how the garment falls on the body and if it fits the proportions I’m looking for.
8. Are there any Korean brands that you are currently interested in or have heard of?
- Right now, I’m not very familiar with specific Korean Brands, although the cuts they use in most of their garments are among the best.
7. 新しいアイテムを探すとき、最初にチェックすることは何ですか？カット、生地、あるいは体にかけた時のドレープ感でしょうか？
- 最初に注目するのはカット（裁断）です。ベースが機能していなければ、生地やデザインは関係ありません。その次に、服が体にどのように落ちるか、自分が求めているプロポーションに合っているかを確認します。
8. 現在興味を持っている、あるいは聞いたことのある韓国のブランドはありますか？
- 今のところ特定の韓国ブランドには詳しくありませんが、彼らのウェアに使われているカットの多くは最高峰のものだと思っています。
7. 새로운 옷을 찾을 때 가장 먼저 확인하는 것은 무엇인가요? 컷, 소재, 혹은 몸에 떨어지는 실루엣인가요?
- 가장 먼저 보는 것은 컷(Cut)입니다. 기본이 제대로 잡혀 있지 않다면 소재나 디자인은 중요하지 않죠. 그다음으로 옷이 몸에 어떻게 떨어지는지, 그리고 제가 원하는 비율과 맞는지 확인합니다.
8. 현재 관심을 갖고 있거나 알고 있는 한국 브랜드가 있나요?
- 지금 당장 특정 한국 브랜드를 잘 알고 있지는 않지만, 대부분의 한국 의류에서 보여주는 컷(Cut)들은 최고 수준이라고 생각합니다.
