Q: Can you introduce yourself?
Hi, I’m Chiveskella(@chiveskella), a fashion designer and blogger living in China! Here is my answers

Q: When you choose what to wear, do you start from a certain mood or feeling?
My personal style is a constant work in progress, and right now I’m really into the whole inner/outer layer concept. Like, pairing thin base layers or thermal wear with rough, textured materials on the outside.
My mood is often kinda apocalyptic with a hint of nostalgia and melancholy, so I end up choosing—or maybe I’m chosen by—brands that really fit that vibe.

Q: The way you hide your face feels cool. Does that anonymity give you a kind of freedom?
My whole thing with hiding my face has already led to a few funny incidents, with some people lifting my photos to pass off my content as their own. I see it as a hilarious way to get my style to go viral, all without triggering that subconscious rejection from different kinds of people.

Q: Was there a recent look that felt especially “you”?
My typical look is like a punk or a rocker who’s been to a cyberpunk video game universe and has chosen today’s skin to play his role in this world. The vibe can be provocative and loud, but that’s just how I see the world around me at that moment.

Q: When taking photos, is there something you care about more than the outfit itself?
The way I photograph myself is a distinct art form in itself: mastering and recalling epic poses. It’s for capturing those moments I want to fully inhabit, ensuring I remain as a virtual imprint in the digital realm.

Q: What’s the moment when you feel like, “yeah, this works” after getting dressed?
That moment when I think: «There, now I’m dressed right,» comes from that same desire to create a complete, perfect build for my character in my own universe.

Q: Is there a silhouette or color you’ve been reaching for lately?
Lately, I’ve been thinking more about silhouettes that something a bit fitted on top that completely deconstructs towards the bottom. I really like this idea of aliens with non-standard legs but totally humanoid bodies. And a grey as a base color instead of black.

Q: Do you have a favorite Korean brand?
I am a great fan of many Korean brands, I this their designs are sustainable. But I can highlight the Post Archive Faction as a Demigod, and Protocol_Index as a rising beast!

Q: Is there a BGM you’d pair with a recent look you wore? Just one track!
