Q: Please introduce yourself.
My name is Arnau(@arnaauferreer), and I live in a small town near Barcelona, Spain. I studied Marketing and Fashion Communication at the Istituto Europeo di Design, and I’m now a full-time fashion content creator. I used to work as a stylist, and right now I’m looking to deepen my knowledge in branding and visual merchandising.
Q: What’s the first word that comes to mind when you think about your style?
Honestly, I can’t describe my style with just one word. It’s a personal mix of different influences but if I had to pick, I’d call it Classy-Streetwear.
Q: How do you usually start putting a look together—do you follow instinct, or plan it out?
I mostly follow my instinct. I focus on one piece I really want to wear, and then I build the whole look around it.
Q: What’s a detail or element that always makes your outfit feel complete?
Definitely my rings and my bags, I feel incomplete without them.
Q: Is there a piece of advice or mindset that shaped how you approach fashion?
The best advice I’ve ever received is to dress for yourself, not for others. That’s when everything really changes, when you start expressing who you are instead of who you think you should be.
Q: If your recent outfit had a soundtrack, what would it be?
That’s a tough one because my music taste is all over the place. But if we’re talking about my MBFW outfit, I’d say “Suddenly I See” by KT Tunstall. The Devil Wears Prada is my favorite movie, and that look made me feel like I was in the film, fans will know exactly what I mean!
Q: Do you know any Korean brands, or is there one you’ve been interested in?
I really love Ader Error and Rokh. Their creativity and attention to detail are incredible, both brands have such a strong identity and a very unique way of approaching fashion.
Q: When you look back at your old photos, how do you feel your style has evolved over time?
It connects a lot with the advice I mentioned before. I used to dress to fit in or to please others, until I realized the most important thing is to wear what makes me feel good and confident.
Q: What do you hope people feel when they see your style for the first time?
I hope people can sense my energy through what I wear. Fashion, for me, is pure expression, it’s about creativity, fun, and emotion. You can tell a story without saying a single word, and that’s what makes it so powerful.
